Welcome. I’m Richard Luis, a kiln-formed fused glass and ceramics artist based in London, United Kingdom. This website is mostly a space to share my artwork and inspire any beginner (or experienced) potters, ceramicists, and fused glass artists in the kiln-formed art world!

My experience with fused glass and ceramics started as a hobby growing up, and now, in my mid-fifties, it’s a way for me to do something that I enjoy away from my full-time profession as a developer and IT director.

My work is deeply personal and inspired by the world around me — whether it’s the rhythmic movement of marine fish, a long-time fascination of mine, or the rich colors and textures of my Mother’s Spanish heritage. Each piece I create tells a story, blending organic forms, bold colors, and intricate details into something truly unique.

Through this site, I hope to share not only my work but also the creative process, insights into kiln-formed techniques and the beauty of crafting with glass and clay.
